Our friends at the Columbus Sharks are hosting a local LCM meet! The meet is non-sanctioned. This means that times from the meet will not be recorded as official in the United States Masters Swimming (USMS) database. This is a great opportunity to get a feel for competition in a 50 meter long-course pool, along with having a great time with our friends from Central Ohio.
WHEN
Friday, June 10. Warm-ups start at 6:00pm, competition kicks off at 6:30p
LOCATION
City of Gahanna Outdoor Pool, 148 Parkland Drive, Gahanna, OH 43230. The facility features a 9 lane Long-Course 50 meter pool with depths ranging from 8′ to 3.5’. One lane will be available for warm-up/warm-down during the meet. Electronic timing will be used. Note that changing space is extremely LIMITED!!
REGISTRATION
Registration is accepted online only. You can find the link here: ohiosplash.com/register! Registration closes June 8th. Cost per swimmer $0.00 – yes, FREE. However, if you’d like to make a small donation at the event to help cover cost that would be great (but it’s not mandatory)
AWARDS
No awards will be given. There will be no judges or officials. This meet is for fun and to chance to get your feet wet (pun intended) in a LCM pool.
