Considering Distance Swimming

If you’ve considered distance swimming (the swimming mile – 1650 yards), here’s a quick workout to help you get there!

Warm-up:
100 Free
75  Kick
75 Pull

The rest of the workout is written in 25’s (lengths) of a short course pool

11×25 Free – push these and the remaining odd-numbered sets below
10×25 Fly @ :45 – work on perfect technique
9×25 Free
8×25 Back @ :45
7×25 Free
6×25 Breast @ :45
5×25 Free
4×25 Free @ :45
3×25 Free
2×25 Fly @ :45
1×25 Sprint

You’ve made it to the swimming mile!

Cool-down with an easy 100

Total = 2000 Yards
